I love watching these videos as a teenager and it really helps moving on and healing from the past especially forgiving myself and understanding why i made the choices i have and accepting the affects caused by my rash emotionally hormonal actions.

don't think I was ready

My most recent friendship breakup was suuuper hard to do because she was going through a really tough year, and I felt so guilty at the idea of making things even worse for her, so I held back and waited for longer than I should have and tried to pull away and distance myself slowly. She was also friends with all my friends so I didn’t want to make things awkward for everyone and I also knew it could potentially isolate her if I ended things. It ate me alive feeling like I was faking it until things stabilized in her life, and I subconsciously wanted to be a bad friend to prime her for when I eventually ended things so that it didn’t feel like it came out of nowhere. But our friendship was so codependent and was making me miserable. My mental health suffered so much from trying to force this friendship because I felt like she needed me. But I didn’t respect her, and she sensed it so she tried even harder, which suffocated me. And we both just had so much resentment building up for years. Anyways, she didn’t handle the breakup well. We both wished I had said something sooner but I still don’t think it would have been handled well no matter how I went about it.

you NEED to read Untamed by Glennon Doyle, it’s a similar concept about woman hood and growing up and sexuality. there are so many touching quotes in it. in the first chapter she compares herself to a wild animal she saw at the zoo, and how it longs for the wilderness outside of her cage, like how this book compares women to wolves. REALLY recommend if you like this book
